A challenging project with tight deadlines

A play paradise like Monkeytown requires flooring that can withstand heavy use. When the Gelsenkirchen location needed a renovation and flooring expansion, speed and precision were crucial.

With a total flooring area of 1,650 m², the work had to be executed flawlessly and within a tight schedule to minimize disruption to business operations. A challenge where VivaProjects excels.

Tight planning and flexible approach

The renovation involved removing 250 m² of old carpet, cleaning and leveling the substrate, and installing 250 m² of PVC and 1,400 m² of needlefelt carpet. Through close collaboration with our upholsterers and external partners, we were able to carry out the work efficiently.

Since the substrate varied per area, a thorough preliminary assessment was essential to avoid surprises. Thanks to our experience and flexible approach, we could adapt quickly, even in unforeseen situations such as different types of trampolines requiring customized materials.

Logistical challenges and smart solutions

This project required not only craftsmanship but also well-thought-out logistical planning. Materials had to be transported across borders while considering cost optimization.

By combining transports, we minimized both the ecological footprint and transport costs. Additionally, we used water-based adhesives and recyclable carpet to ensure sustainability.
